Sustiva is a registered trademark of the Bristol-Myers Squibb Laboratory. It is used in combination with other medicines to help reduce or reduce HIV infection of the patient's body.

Dosage generic Sustiva

Read carefully the patient information leaflet provided by the pharmacist before taking Sustiva. If you have additional questions, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Take this medicine orally on an empty stomach (fasting), once a day at bedtime or as directed by your doctor. Taking Sustiva with food increases the potency of this medicine, which may increase the risk of certain side effects. (See Side Effects section).

Swallow this whole medicine with water. If you have trouble swallowing the capsule, it can be opened and the contents mixed gently in a small amount (1 to 2 teaspoons) of soft food such as compote, grape jelly, or yogurt.
