ESTRACE

Estrace is a medicine that contains an estrogen hormone. Estrace is a registered trademark of Warner Chilcott.

Estrace is used to treat symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes and vaginal dryness, burning and irritation. Other uses include the prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women, and the replacement of estrogen in women with ovarian failure or other situations causing a lack of natural estrogen in the body. Estrace is sometimes used in the treatment of cancer in women and men.

Estrace may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Buy Estrace – Indications

This medicine is a female hormone. It is used by women to help reduce the symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes and vaginal dryness. These symptoms are caused by the body when it produces less estrogen. If you use this medicine to treat only the symptoms that occur around and in the vagina, products applied directly into the vagina should be considered before other medications that are taken orally, absorbed through the skin, or by injection. Some estrogen products can also be used by women after menopause to prevent bone loss (osteoporosis). However, there are other medications (such as raloxifene, bisphosphonates, and alendronate) that are also effective at preventing bone loss and can be safer and more reliable. These medications should be considered before estrogen treatment. Some estrogen-based products can also be used by men and women to treat cancer (prostate cancer, and breast that has spread to other parts of the body) and by women who do not are unable to produce enough estrogen due to hypogonadism, or primary ovarian failure.

Dosage Estrace 2mg without prescription in pharmacy

Read the information leaflet carefully before using this medicine, if any doubts or questions persist, contact your doctor or pharmacist. Also, do not divide the tablets unless they have a score line unless directed by your doctor. Swallow the whole or a slotted tablet without crushing or chewing. The dosage is based on your state of health and response to treatment. Take this medicine regularly to get the best result. Follow your dosing schedule carefully. Do not increase the dose or take this medicine more often or longer than prescribed by the doctor.

Possible side effects Estrace 2mg

Seek emergency medical help if you have any of the following allergic reactions:

Hives; difficulty breathing swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat. Stop using estradiol and call your doctor immediately if you have a serious side effect such as: unusual vaginal bleeding (especially if you have gone through menopause); chest pain or feeling heavy, pain in the arm or shoulder, nausea, sweating, general feeling of sickness; numbness or sudden weakness, especially on one side of the body sudden headaches, confusion, vision, speech, or balance problems; stabbing chest pain, sudden coughing, wheezing, rapid breathing, rapid heartbeat; pain, swelling, heat, redness or in one or both legs; nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, increased thirst, muscle weakness, confusion and feeling tired or agitated; a lump in the breast; to feel like you faint; pain, swelling, or tenderness in the stomach; or jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes). Less serious side effects may include nausea, vomiting, bloating, stomach cramps; chest pain, tenderness, or swelling; freckles or darkening of the skin of the face; hair loss from the scalp; itching or vaginal discharge or changes in your menstrual periods. It should be noted that this list of side effects is not exhaustive, so please report to your doctor any sensation that seems strange to you.
The addition of a progestin when a woman has not had a hysterectomy. Studies of the addition of a progestin for 10 or more days of an estrogen cycle, or daily with estrogens in a continuous diet, have reported an incidence reducing endometrial hyperplasia than that would be induced by estrogen alone treatment. Endometrial hyperplasia can be a precursor to endometrial cancer. There are, however, the possible risks that can be associated with the use of progestins with estrogen to the detriment of estrogen. These include an increased risk of breast cancer, high blood pressure in a number of cases. In clinical trials where the drug was replaced by placebo, no effect of the drug on blood pressure was observed. Blood pressure should be monitored at regular intervals with the use of estrogen. Hypertriglyceridemia In patients with hypertriglyceridemia, pre-existing estrogen therapy may be associated with elevated plasma triglycerides leading to pancreatitis and other complications. Hepatic failure and a history of cholestatic jaundice estrogens may be poorly metabolized in patients with reduced hepatic function. For patients with a history of cholestatic jaundice associated with the use of estrogens, caution should be exercised and in case of recurrence, discontinuation of the drug should be discontinued.

Estrace 2mg Interactions Online

Laboratory analyzes revealed an increase in the duration of prothrombin, partial thromboplastin, and platelet aggregation; as well as an increase in factors II, VII, antigen, antigen VIII, coagulant activity VIII, IX, X, XII, complex VII-X, complex II-VII-X, and beta-thromboglobulin; decreased anti-factor Xa and antithrombin III levels, decreased antithrombin III activity; increased fibrinogen level; increased antigen and plasminogen activity. An increase in thyroid globulin (TBG) has also been observed leading to an increase in total thyroid hormones, as measured by protein-bound iodine (PBI), T4 levels (by column or radioimmunoassay) or of T3 by radioimmunoassay. T3 resin absorption is decreased, reflecting a high TBG. The concentrations of free T4 and T3 remain unchanged. Patients undergoing thyroid replacement therapy may require higher doses of the thyroid hormone. Other binding proteins can be elevated in serum, namely, corticosteroid-binding globulin (CBG), hormone-binding globulin (SHBG), leading to an increase in circulating corticosteroids and sex steroids, respectively. The concentrations of free or biologically active hormones are unchanged. Other plasma proteins may be increased (angiotensinogen / renin substrate, alpha-1-antitrypsin, ceruloplasmin). Increased HDL plasma and HDL2 subfraction concentrations, reduced LDL cholesterol concentration, increased triglyceride levels and glucose tolerance.
